How Students Can Cancel or Withdraw an Accidental Batch Join Request

Realizing you requested entry into the wrong section or class leaves you worried that the teacher will enroll you into an incorrect cohort.

Accidental enrollment requests clutter teacher approval queues

When students accidentally request entry into an advanced batch by mistake, teachers have to spend time sorting and rejecting erroneous entries.

Withdraw pending requests directly from the batch info drawer

  1. Open My Batches in your EduVetta student dashboard.

  2. Click on the batch card that shows 'Pending Approval'.

  3. Open the Batch Info side panel and locate the 'Withdraw Request' button.

  4. Click Withdraw to immediately remove your pending profile from the teacher's queue.

Put it into practice

Example: Canceling an accidental grade 10 join request

A 9th-grade student accidentally pastes a 10th-grade batch code, immediately clicks Withdraw Request, and enters his correct 9th-grade code.

Worth checking first

  • Withdrawing a request removes your profile from the teacher's approval ledger instantly.
  • You can submit a new request to a different batch immediately after withdrawing.
