How Students Can Share Study Documents and PDFs in Learning Chat

Discussing specific questions from external mock papers is difficult if you cannot share the original source document with your educator.

External reference questions lack context without source documents

When students ask about an Olympiad or competitive exam problem without providing the question sheet, teachers cannot verify the problem wording.

Share documents directly into the chat thread using the file uploader

  1. Open the Learning Chat thread with your educator.

  2. Click the attachment paperclip icon and select 'Upload Document'.

  3. Choose your PDF, Word, or PowerPoint file from your device storage.

  4. Add a message specifying the question number (e.g., 'Page 4, Question 12').

Put it into practice

Example: Sharing a physics sample paper with a tutor

A student shares a 2 MB previous-year question paper PDF, asking his tutor to review question 7 during their next tutorial session.

Worth checking first

  • Files up to 10 MB in PDF, DOCX, and PPTX formats are fully supported.
  • Shared files can be downloaded and viewed directly inside the browser.
