How to Collect Assignments in One Place
Choose one submission destination for each assignment and make it the source you use for review. You can still announce the task in several places, but direct every announcement to the same link. Distribution and collection do not need to happen in the same channel.
Scattered channels make completeness hard to judge
A teacher may have most work in one folder, a few late photos in a chat and several emailed corrections. The problem is not just storage: it becomes difficult to know which version is current and whose work is still missing.
Consolidate without losing work
Select the destination for the next assignment and explain that all submissions should go there.
Share the same link through the class's usual announcement channels rather than opening separate collection routes.
State how students should handle corrections or access problems so alternate versions do not spread silently.
During the transition, check old channels for work already sent and reconcile it deliberately with your review records.

Post the assignment message in the class group and on the notice board, but use the same submission link in both. Students can discover the work in either place, while the teacher reviews one set of entries rather than merging two inboxes.
Before you share
- Do not promise that existing emails or chat attachments will migrate automatically.
- Keep an explicit record when a legitimate exception is handled outside the main route.
