How to Collect Assignments Without WhatsApp Files
Share the assignment announcement in your usual class channel if needed, but direct students to a submission link for the work itself. This prevents homework photos and corrections from being buried among chat messages, while preserving the communication routine students already know.
Chat messages mix work with conversation
A photo can become separated from its student's name or the instruction it answers. Multiple pages may arrive out of order, and personal feedback can accidentally become visible to the whole group. A task-specific destination makes review more structured.
Separate chat from collection
Create the assignment with clear instructions, deadline and required response format.
Post one message explaining that the link is for submissions and chat is for general questions.
Ask students to enter consistent class and roll-number details and attach pages in order.
Check the submission list for received work, using private follow-up for missing or unreadable entries.
