Assessment results for parents

Every released result, feedback included.

When a result is released to your child, you can read it too. Tests, assignments and quiz games each have their own report, showing what was attempted, where grading stands, the score and any feedback that came with it.

Why it helps

Praise becomes specific and help becomes targeted, because you know which piece of work went well and which did not.

Three separate reports

Tests, assignments and quiz games are listed separately, each entry carrying its title, batch and the date it was attempted or submitted. It is clear at once which kind of work a score belongs to.

Grading status at a glance

Each entry says whether the work is in progress, awaiting grading or graded. A missing score stops being a mystery when you can see the marking is simply not finished.

Scores with their context

A released result shows marks out of the total next to the percentage, such as 18 out of 20 and 90%. Available feedback sits directly beneath the title, so the comment and the number are read together.

Recent results for comparison

Your child’s overview lists their most recent results across tests, assignments and quiz games, newest first. One disappointing mark is easier to weigh when you can see what came before it.

From first step to follow-through

Three steps, and you are in.

  1. 1

    Choose a report

On your child’s page, select Tests, Assignments or Quiz games. If they learn in more than one space, pick the space that class belongs to first.

  2. 2

    Read status and score

Look along the entry for its grading status, the released score and the percentage. A score that has not been released yet is labelled that way.

  3. 3

    Talk through the feedback

Read any feedback shown beneath the title, then ask your child what they would do differently next time. Their overview shows how this result sits against their average.

What parents usually ask.

Will I see marks before the teacher releases them?

Scores stay hidden until they have been released to your child, and until then the entry reads as not released yet. You never see a result ahead of them.

Can I see the questions or my child’s answers?

The parent dashboard shows the title, batch, date, grading status, score and feedback for each piece of work. Question papers and your child’s individual answers are not displayed there.

Why does a piece of work show no score?

There are three usual reasons: your child has not submitted it yet, it is still awaiting grading, or the score has not been released. The status and score columns tell you which one applies.
