How School Heads Can Assign Lead and Co-Teachers to Batches

When multiple instructors share a class without clear role designations, confusion arises over who manages the register and enters marks.

Unclear teaching hierarchy causes administrative confusion

Without designated lead and co-teaching roles, teachers assume colleagues took attendance or graded tests, resulting in neglected class duties.

Configure lead and co-teaching roles on each batch settings card

  1. Navigate to Batches under People in your institution dashboard.

  2. Select an academic cohort and open the Instructor Assignment panel.

  3. Designate one educator as the Lead Teacher responsible for the primary register.

  4. Add one or more Co-Teachers to share lecture delivery and homework grading.

Put it into practice

Example: Co-teaching in a Grade 10 science batch

A school assigns Ms. Rao as lead biology teacher and Mr. Khan as co-teacher for practicals, allowing both to teach while keeping records unified.

Worth checking first

  • Lead teachers serve as the primary contact for batch communications.
  • Co-teachers have full access to conduct digital board lectures and assign tests.
