Preparation packs, itemised
Each pack your child builds in Prepare is listed with its mode, full syllabus or last-day preparation, and whether it is ready. Attempt counts, best marks and average scores show how much use it has had.
A lot of learning happens outside lessons, where no teacher is taking a register. When your child builds a preparation pack, takes a practice test or plays the Daily Five in their student app, the attempts and scores show up on your dashboard.
Each pack your child builds in Prepare is listed with its mode, full syllabus or last-day preparation, and whether it is ready. Attempt counts, best marks and average scores show how much use it has had.
Practice Tests appear with the date created, the number of attempts, the best mark and the average. These are papers your child decided to take, separate from anything a teacher set.
Daily Five gives your child five questions a day. You see each day they played, the question set, how many attempts they made and their best score out of five, along with their current streak.
Self-study belongs to your child’s account, not to a particular class or institution. Whichever learning space you have selected, this section reads the same, so there is nothing to switch.
On your child’s page, choose Self-study. It sits beside the class sections and is unaffected by the learning space you have selected.
Work down the preparation packs, Practice Tests and Daily Five tables, noting what was created recently and what has been attempted more than once.
Mention something specific you noticed, such as a streak or an improved best mark. Then agree a practice rhythm your child thinks is realistic.
They are two different things. Preparation packs are study material your child creates for themselves in Prepare, and this report covers those along with Practice Tests and Daily Five. Study Packs published by teachers are not shown on the parent dashboard.
An attempt count only records work done in Prepare, Practice Tests and Daily Five. Reading, written homework and revision done elsewhere are not captured, so treat a quiet week as something to ask about, not a conclusion.
When your link request arrives, your child is told that a linked parent can see personal study progress as well as classwork, attendance, results and study purchases. They approve with that in view and can remove the link later.
Once linked, your child’s preparation packs, Practice Tests and Daily Five days appear with attempts and best scores.
