How Institutions Can Restore Deleted Batches, Tests, and Timetables

An accidental deletion of a class batch or timetable on legacy platforms forces staff to spend hours manually re-entering records from memory.

Accidental administrative deletions disrupt school operations

When an administrator accidentally deletes a batch with thirty students or an intricate weekly timetable, rebuilding it from scratch wastes days.

Restore institutional records with one click from the recycle bin

  1. Open Recycle Bin under Operations in your institution dashboard.

  2. Browse deleted records or filter by type: Batches, Tests, Timetables, or Tasks.

  3. Inspect the countdown badge showing the days remaining in the 15-day window.

  4. Click Restore to return the record immediately to its native dashboard section.

Put it into practice

Example: Recovering an accidentally deleted Grade 10 timetable

An admin accidentally removes a Grade 10 timetable; he opens the Recycle Bin two minutes later, clicks Restore, and the schedule returns intact.

Worth checking first

  • Restored timetables return as drafts so admins can verify slots before publishing.
  • Batches return with all student memberships and past lecture records.
