Video lectures for students

Join the lesson. Take part in the explanation.

Join your teacher’s live class from a link, a lecture code or the list of lectures for your batch. You can speak, turn on your camera, raise a hand or type in class chat while the teacher explains on video and a shared board.

Why it helps

Being able to ask in the moment means fewer gaps to fix on your own later.

01

Know before you join

Enter a lecture code or paste the invitation URL and you see the title, teacher, batch and who is allowed in. A notice about recording is shown too, before you decide to enter.

02

Ask without interrupting

Raise your hand to let the teacher know you have a question, or type it into classroom chat. Both reach the teacher while the explanation is still fresh, without cutting across whoever is speaking.

03

Microphone and camera control

Test your devices before entering and switch your microphone or camera on and off during class. Hosts can turn them on for you only if you gave permission when you joined, and you can still turn them off.

04

A record after class

Lectures from your batches and the ones you attended appear in your history with the teacher’s saved description. Search by title, teacher or batch to find the class you want to go over again.

From first step to follow-through

Bring the lesson to life.

  1. 1

    Look up the lecture

Select a live lecture from Lectures in your dashboard, or enter the code or URL your teacher shared to find it.

  2. 2

    Test devices, then join

Confirm the lecture details, try your camera and microphone, then press Join lecture once the preview looks and sounds right.

  3. 3

    Revisit the lesson

After class, return to your lecture history for the summary. If your teacher saved a recording or board PDF, download it while the window lasts.

Worth knowing before you start.

Do I need to be in a batch to join a lecture?

It depends on how your teacher set the lecture up. Some are limited to approved batch members, some need a verified student account, and some accept anyone with the link, including guests.

How long can I download a lecture recording?

Recordings and board PDFs are available for 24 hours after the teacher saves the lecture, and only when the teacher chose to record. After that window, the lecture summary and your attendance remain in your history.

What happens if I join as a guest instead of signing in?

Guests can take part in lectures that are open to everyone. Attendance and lecture history are kept in your dashboard only when you join with your signed-in student account.
