Fees and receipts for students

Know what is paid and what is due.

Each fee group you belong to shows the total, what is outstanding and when the next instalment is due. Expand it for the full instalment schedule, the payments your teacher or institution has recorded and a receipt for each one.

Why it helps

When a parent or the office asks what has been paid, you have the answer and the receipt.

The headline numbers first

Three figures lead the page: outstanding, overdue and paid so far. Each group then shows its own outstanding amount and the next instalment with its date, before you expand anything.

Instalment by instalment

Expanding a group lists every instalment with its due date, amount, amount paid and status. Labels such as upcoming, part paid, paid, waived and overdue show where each one stands.

Receipts on record

Every recorded payment appears with its date, method, amount and receipt number. Download the receipt from the same line whenever you or your family need proof of payment.

Invitations you control

A personal teacher’s fee group arrives as an invitation showing the total and the number of instalments. Accept it to see the full schedule and receipts or decline it, and your teacher records payments either way.

From first step to follow-through

A clear path from schedule to receipt.

  1. 1

    Enter the right space

Choose your personal or institution space in the header, then go to Fees. Accept any invitation from a personal teacher to see its schedule.

  2. 2

    Note what is due

See the outstanding amount and the next instalment date for each group. Expand a group to see every instalment and its status.

  3. 3

    Pay as instructed

Follow the How to pay instructions your teacher or institution has written. Once they record the payment, it appears in your list with a receipt.

Worth knowing before you start.

Can I pay my fees online through EduVetta?

The Fees page is a record, not a checkout. Payments are made outside it, in the way your teacher or institution asks, and show up here once they have been recorded.

How do institution fee groups appear in my account?

Your institution adds its students to fee groups directly, so the group appears in your institution space without an invitation. It shows the schedule assigned to you and every payment recorded against it.

Will my institution see fee groups from my personal teachers?

Personal and institution fee groups are kept in their own spaces. A group from a personal teacher stays in your personal space and is not mixed into your institution’s records.
