Students and batches for teachers

Organise the class before you organise the work.

A batch is your class list inside EduVetta. Invite students with a link, approve the requests you recognise, and that group becomes the audience for lectures, tests, assignments and fee schedules. You build the list once per class.

Why it helps

Each lecture and piece of work reaches the right students without you retyping a list.

01

Approval stays with you

Share an invite link and students create their own accounts, verify their email and ask to join. Nobody enters batch-only lectures until you approve the request, and you can remove a student later without deleting their past work.

02

One group, many uses

Choose the batch when you start a lecture, set a test or assignment, link a lesson plan or invite students to a fee group. Attendance is then reported against that same class.

03

A channel for announcements

With your Telegram account connected, each batch gets its own channel and an invite link for students. Lecture summaries you choose to send are posted there for the class to read.

04

Two spaces, no mixing

Personal batches and institution batches sit in separate workspaces. In an institution space you see the batches you create there and those you are assigned to teach, drawn from the institution’s own members.

From first step to follow-through

Three steps from idea to class.

  1. 1

    Create the batch

Give it a name students will recognise, such as “Physics, Class XII”, and an optional note like the days it meets.

  2. 2

    Invite and approve

Send the invite link or add an existing student by email. Approve pending requests, and the roster fills with approved students.

  3. 3

    Teach with it

Select the batch whenever you start a lecture or set work. Come back to the roster as the term goes on to add or remove students.

Good to know before you start.

Why use batches instead of sharing every item separately?

A batch saves you from choosing recipients each time, and it lets you restrict a lecture to approved students. Public links still work for one-off activities or for learners outside your classes.

Can I teach personally and through an institution?

You can do both from the same account. The workspace switcher moves you between your personal space and an institution’s space, and each has its own batches, students and records.

What happens when I remove a student from a batch?

They lose access to that batch’s batch-only lectures. Their account and past work are kept, and you can approve them again later.
