Timed, not just ticked
In a video lecture the report goes beyond a simple present or absent. It lists when each student joined and left and their total time, counting overlapping connections only once.
Video lectures record attendance from each student’s connection, so there is no roll call to run. For a digital board lesson you mark attendance yourself, by tapping or by voice. The Attendance page lists your lectures, and opening one shows who was present, absent or joined from outside the batch.

Nobody connects to a board lesson, so nothing can be recorded automatically. Open the lesson in Attendance and tap Present or Absent for each student, or press Start roll call and say the names aloud.
Each lecture report separates batch members from guests and people outside the batch, and shows who did not attend. Search by name, email or roll number to find one student quickly.
Connected time, camera time and tab activity are shown as context, and the device-reported figures are estimates. None of them prove that a student was attentive, so read them alongside submitted work and results.
Run a video lecture or a board lesson for a batch. Video attendance records itself, and for the board you mark it during or after class.
In Attendance, choose a lecture from the list, filtering by batch if you need to. Present, absent and outside attendees appear with their time in class.
When the same name keeps appearing as absent, have the conversation now and point the student to the summary of what they missed.

Attendance and connection time describe joining a class, nothing more. Camera and tab measurements are estimates reported by the student’s device, and they do not prove attention, identity or understanding.
Students see attended and held lecture totals, with a percentage, for each of their batches in their own dashboard. The detailed camera and tab measurements in your report are not shown on their attendance cards.
Those attendees are listed in the lecture report under a separate heading for guests and people outside the batch. Video lectures started without a batch can be found by choosing Public, no batch in the batch filter.
Run one video lecture for a batch, then check its report to see who joined and for how long.
