Class insights for teachers

Know what deserves another lesson.

Your dashboard turns graded tests, assignments and quiz games into a short picture of the class. It names the assessment with the highest average and the one with the lowest, and ranks students across your batches. Each figure leads to the report behind it.

Why it helps

Instead of guessing which topic to revisit, you start the week with evidence from your own students.

A group of students gathered around one laptop
01

Strongest and weakest assessments

The highest and lowest class averages appear side by side, so you can tell at a glance which paper the class found hardest. When only a few responses are in, the panel says the sample is small.

02

A scoreboard you can explain

Each student’s overall score is an equal-weight average of the categories available: attendance, tests, assignments and quiz games. Ungraded work and missing categories are left out instead of being counted as zero.

03

Down to the question

Inside any test or quiz, analytics list the questions most often answered incorrectly and group results by topic label. You can relabel topics without changing the questions, answers or marks.

04

Reports you can export

Download a report as CSV, Excel or PDF when you want the figures outside the dashboard. Each student’s row breaks the overall score into its categories, so you can see what sits behind the number.

From first step to follow-through

Three steps from idea to class.

  1. 1

    Gather graded work

Run tests, quiz games and assignments with your batches and finish any marking that is waiting on you. Only graded responses feed the insights.

  2. 2

    Scan the dashboard

Look at the highest and lowest averages and the top students panel, then follow the link into a report when something looks off.

  3. 3

    Decide the next lesson

Pick the topic or student that needs attention and plan a revision class, a fresh explanation or a one-to-one conversation.

Good to know before you start.

Do all attempts count as graded performance?

Only graded responses are counted. Work still waiting for a mark is excluded instead of being scored as zero, and small samples are flagged so you read them with care.

Can I use these insights across personal and institution work?

Insights follow the space you are in. Your institution papers do not score your personal students, or the other way round, so switch workspace to see the other set.

Which students appear in the rankings?

The scoreboard covers current, approved students in your batches who have a linked account. A guest who attempted a public link without joining a batch is therefore not ranked.
