Find the right colleague
The people directory lists teachers in the institution with their department and designation, searchable by name or email. You can also ask to join a department, and an approver or the institution head answers the request.
Inside your institution’s space, Team shows your departments, a directory of fellow teachers, the tasks assigned to you and direct messaging with colleagues. It is available only when you work within an institution, and everything in it belongs to that institution.

Assign a task to a colleague in any department, or to yourself, with a due date and priority. Status moves from open to in progress to done, and comments and edits are recorded in the task’s history.
Filter tasks to those assigned to you, those you created or everything you can see. Work handed to you by the institution appears in the same list with its due date.
Message any teacher in the institution without sending a request first, using text, voice notes or attachments. Conversations stay inside the institution, and its heads can review them, which the messaging screen states openly.
Choose your institution in the workspace switcher and go to Team. Departments, people, tasks and messages load for that institution.
Look at what is assigned to you and when it is due. Select a task to read its details and the earlier comments.
Move the task’s status as you work, add a comment, and message a colleague when a decision needs a conversation.

Team messaging connects you with colleagues in your institution, while Learning Chat is for conversations with students. Staff discussions and student questions therefore never share a list.
