Team management for institutions

Every task gets an owner and a deadline.

Group your teachers into departments, give them designations and set tasks with a due date and a named owner. Teachers coordinate with each other through Team messaging in their app, and you follow progress from the Team page of your dashboard.

Why it helps

Work you hand out in a staff meeting no longer disappears, because each task shows its owner, its status and whether it is overdue.

01

Departments that mirror reality

Create the departments your teachers actually work in and define designations such as head of department or coordinator. A teacher can belong to more than one department, and anyone left unassigned is flagged for you.

02

Delegated join approvals

Teachers can ask to join a department from their app. You approve or decline, or mark a designation as an approver so that a department head handles requests for their own team.

03

Tasks with a trail

Set a task for any teacher with a priority, due date and department, and they are notified in their app. Status moves from Open to In progress to Done, with comments and change history kept on the task.

04

Staff messages, reviewable

Teachers message colleagues with text, voice notes and attachments inside your institution. Heads can read those threads but cannot post in them, each opening is written to the audit log, and teachers are told that review is possible.

From first step to follow-through

Make the next action clear.

  1. 1

    Create your departments

Name each department, add its designations and choose which of them may approve join requests from teachers who want in.

  2. 2

    Sort teachers into departments

Add teachers to departments with a designation, or approve the requests they send. The overview counts anyone still unassigned.

  3. 3

    Set and track tasks

Create a task, pick the teacher and set the due date. Filter the list by status, priority, department or assignee to find what is overdue.

TeachersTeam coordination

What heads usually ask.

Can heads send messages to teachers from Team Messages?

The Messages screen in the institution dashboard is read-only. Teachers send the messages from their own app, and heads can read the threads and open their attachments.

Do teachers know that heads can read their team messages?

Teachers are told on their Team screen that institution heads can review messages. Every time a head opens a thread, that view is recorded in the audit log.

Can a task be given to a teacher in another department?

Any teacher in the institution can be chosen as the assignee, whatever their department. Each task has a single owner, so responsibility is never shared vaguely.
