How Students Can Track Part-Paid Tuition Instalments and Balances

Making a partial payment toward a large fee instalment can lead to confusion over exactly how much remains due on that specific cutoff date.

Partial payments without clear records lead to accounting confusion

When families pay half of a fee instalment now and half later, handwritten ledgers frequently lose track of the partial balance.

Inspect the 'Part Paid' status badge and remaining balance on the instalment

  1. Log in to your EduVetta account and navigate to Fees.

  2. Expand the fee group containing your recent partial payment.

  3. Locate the instalment marked with the amber 'Part Paid' status badge.

  4. View the amount paid so far alongside the remaining balance due on that instalment.

Put it into practice

Example: Tracking a split instalment of 10,000

A parent pays 5,000 toward a 10,000 instalment; the dashboard marks it 'Part Paid' with 5,000 remaining, and issues a receipt for the 5,000 paid.

Worth checking first

  • Each partial payment generates its own individual downloadable receipt.
  • Once the remaining balance is paid, the status automatically switches to 'Paid'.
