How School Admins Can Place Enrolled Students into Multiple Batches

Managing student placement across multiple overlapping courses (like core subjects, foreign languages, and sports) causes scheduling chaos.

Manual cohort placement leads to missed student assignments

When students take different elective combinations, administrative errors often leave students unassigned to vital subject cohorts.

Manage batch memberships directly from student or batch pages

  1. Open Student Management and select the students you wish to assign.

  2. Click 'Assign to Batches' from the bulk actions toolbar.

  3. Select the target batches (e.g., Grade 10 A, Physics Lab 2, French Elective).

  4. Confirm placement to immediately populate the students' dashboards with course work.

Put it into practice

Example: Assigning an elective cohort

An admin selects 25 students taking computer science and adds them to the 'CS Elective' batch with two clicks, giving them instant access to materials.

Worth checking first

  • A single student can belong to multiple subject batches simultaneously.
  • Students placed in a batch automatically receive its lectures, tests, and timetable.
